Popular Briolette Cut jewel – is everywhere! July 13, 2011

I am seeing more and more wire wrapped Briolette pendants in jewelry design these days.   It is a really pretty look, and can be rustic and organic when using a briolette cut stone.   A Briolette cut stone looks like a teardrop and the hole is drilled side to side through the top of the teardrop shape.    They come in all kinds of cuts, faceted to flat, to more cylindrical.   A Crystal briolette with the facets adds that sparkle that brings this cut into the arena of elegance.   These are popping up all over the place, in fashion mags, on the street and in the workplace.   The wire wrapped presentation of a crystal briolette, works really well with the casual outfit, yet the simplicity works with more formal attire as well.    During my daily cruise of Etsy I have found some really beautiful wire wrapped briolette jewelry creations.     Check it out!   Very Pretty!

    - These are so pretty! I’ve cheeckd out Erin’s shop, and absolutely had to heart her. (I am in love with her bright green ribbon ring too cute!) I also follow her blog and liked your FB page. I am torn between the Lemonade and Marine Turquoise flower necklaces they’re all so bright and summery!
